We had so much fun this week celebrating our 100th day of school! On Monday, we started the day off by counting 100 popsicle sticks. Each child made a sticker chart by counting 100 stickers out by10's and then adding them to their chart. It took a lot of hard work to complete this task.
Finally, on Thursday we celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday with both the Quarter Note and Half Note classes. We ate "green eggs and ham" after listening to the story Green Eggs and Ham, by Dr. Seuss.

Notes from Yuting:
This week we read the Chinese version of "Little Owl Lost" by Chris Houghton. From the book we learned that small or little is 小( pronounced as Xiǎo), and big is 大 ( Dà). We reviewed how to say "eyes" 眼睛 (Yǎnjīng), "ears" 耳朵 (Ěrduo), and "right hear" 在这里 (Zài zhèlǐ).
You could listen to the English version from the link below--
On Friday we celebrated our 100th day of school by counting 100 fruit loops and then making a necklace with them. The children jumped for 100 seconds, hopped for 100 seconds, and clapped for 100 seconds. What a fun day we all had.
